Governance Recruitment International (GRI) is a specialist consultancy dedicated to the recruitment of company secretaries and governance professionals worldwide, as well as providing bespoke consulting support for large corporations with challenging governance resourcing needs.
GRI was established in 2020 in the wake of the global pandemic caused by COVID-19 to address a demand and identifiable gap in the worldwide recruitment market for governance professionals. Based out of Hong Kong, GRI’s team has representatives from the United Kingdom down to Australia, and recruits for roles globally.
Founded and led by Neil Olofsson, the former Corporation Secretary of The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited and senior executive in Asia at Brookfield, GRI seeks to provide better recruitment outcomes for both clients and candidates in the governance space via the old adage ‘it takes one to know one’. Neil and his team are all experienced governance professionals with deep knowledge of not only the governance job space, but also exactly the skills and attributes it takes to do the jobs they recruit. In fact, they pride themselves on being able to do those jobs. Simply put, the result for both a client company and the people it engages is a better fit.
